Scalp Reduction
A scalp reduction is a hair transplant method that consists of removing the part of the scalp affected by alopecia. The remaining areas are brought together and sutured to close the incision. Usually, a scalp reduction is combined with hair micrografting techniques to fill in a bald or thinning area.
We do not recommend surgery using this technique, as it can lead to additional scarring and complications.
